2nd pick: #9 (Borrowed Dreams) (8-1) - Home bred seems to be getting better. He held down the show spot here at this distance Dec 30 in his first ever in a claimer. Breeder/owner/trainer Rich Lugovich replaces Walter Garcia with the red hot Kendrick Carmouche.
3rd pick: #1 (Possetano Prince) (5-2) - Well bet here when debuting Dec 30, he was a bit rank early, then was forced to check nearing the stretch. From a strong second out barn of Linda Rice (35%), she also adds blinkers (36%).
4th pick: #2 (Joey Cap) (5-1) - He rallied to finish a non-threatening fourth here in the same Dec 30 that many others exits. It was a useful effort and came off a three month layoff. Trainer Michelle Nevin is adding blinkers.
5th pick: #11 (Fakeittilumakeit) (6-1) - He defeated many of these here Dec 30 when he broke running and held to finish second. However, he got away with slow fractions that day and draws a tough outside post.
