Top pick: #6 (MACK MILLER) (5-2) - One of two entered by trainer Todd Pletcher and the pair race uncoupled. Named after the legendary trainer, "Mack" has early speed and races with blinkers on for the first time.
2nd pick: #7 (Village Warrior) (8-5) - The second of the Pletcher pair, he rallied to finish second when debuting at saratoga going 7-furlongs, then raced evenly in a rather poor performance last out at Belmont. Freshened up since Oct. 5, he's training nicely and is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #8 (Sir J J) (6-1) - Grey colt goes turf-to-dirt for trainer Chad Brown after a wide and even effort last out going a mile on the Belmont lawn. He's trained well on the durt and draws a comfortable outside post.
4th pick: #4 (Kingofgoldstreet) (10-1) - Longshot has been on the sidelines for two months and "Live Oak" home-bred may grab a share as trainer Tom Albertrani drops him into a claimer for the first time.
