Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #1 (NORTHERN GREY) (6-1) - Lightly-raced and quick from the gate, he just failed to hold on here just one week ago when facing a bit weaker. He has the rail, is from a winning barn (Dave Jacobson), and 3-year-old can win this despite moving up in class.
2nd pick: #3 (Competitiveness) (9-2) - Gelding was a good looking maiden winner at this distance for a $20,000 claiming price Oct. 13 at Belmont Park. Only his third career start it was his second back from a five month layoff. He has a speed/stalking style, fits with these, and he has plenty of room for upside. Can factor at a square price.
3rd pick: #2 (Bancroft Hall) (2-1) - The probable favorite, he rallied to miss by a 'head' at this level going 6 1/2 furlongs at Belmont Oct. 14. It was his first race in three months and he's an obvious contender at a short price.
4th pick: #7 (Casigordo) (5-1) - Blinkers go on 4-year-old who likes to rally from well off the pace. He's broken poorly in three straight and unless he gets away cleanly, a minor award is his ceiling.
