Top pick: #8 (COUP DE GRACE) (2-1) - Debuting son of "Tapit" has been in steady training at saratoga since mid-August and several of the works are impresive. Colt cost $300K as a yearling and is in a top barn (Chad Brown). The call in a weak looking field for the level.
2nd pick: #7 (Unknown Road) (7-2) - Another making his debut, gelding by "Bernardini" has been working nicely and had a sharp half-mile gate breeze here on Oct 13th. Good first out barn (Mike Hushion 23%) looks like they have him ready.
3rd pick: #6 (Neoclassic) (12-1) - One of two entered by trainer Tom Albertrani and the pair race uncoupled. Beautifully-bred Darley colt was away slowly in his debut and had traffic issues in his latest. Can factor with a "clean" break and a trouble free journey.
4th pick: #5 (Danaus) (8-1) - The second of the Albertrani pair, he has some speed and will be going turf to dirt and cutting back in distance. Could grab a slice at a big price.
