Top pick: #4 (GREAT MINDS) (6-1) - Colt has run well in his first pair on the grass and "Hall of Fame" trainer Bill Mott will race him on the dirt for the first time. Barn brings him back in 11 days for this attempt and he's been working very fast on the dirt right along.
2nd pick: #5 (Rebranded) (4-1) - Son of "Tiznow" was one of two entered by trainer Todd Pletcher, but he scratched No. 2 "Matterhorn," and elected to go with this colt who sold for $350K this past March. He ran second last out at Philly park and has two-turn experience.
3rd pick: #6 (Cousin Stephen) (6-1) - He had a "troubled" start and a very wide trip when debuting on Sept. 8 at Belmont. Freshened up since, trainer Chad Brown (27% second-time out) has him working fast and adds blinkers (21%).
4th pick: #7 (Rare Eagle) (3-1) - Colt by "Birdstone" rallied from far back to finish third when debuting at Belmont a month ago. Trainer Tom Albertrani has worked him three tims since and this barn is always better second time out.
