Top pick: #7 (PINBALL) (3-5) - The probable heavy favorite, he's always been highly thought of by trainer Bill Mott and he comes off a pair of easy wins here on this surface. Grey son of "Unbridled's Song" ran a carer best "figure" which towers over these and he looks stakes bound very shortly. This is a good test for him as this is the best field he has faced to date.
2nd pick: #1 (Most Happy Fella) (6-1) - Veteran raced evenly last out in his first off a Jamie Ness claim and gelding was a bit "keyed up" right before the start. He has the rail, back class, and is (12-2-3-2) on this surface.
3rd pick: #4 (Fortitude) (10-1) - Nice effort last out saw him up and on the pace and hold gamely to finish third while a length better than "Fella." Gelding is back in shape following several layoffs and is in the same race exotic bets mix.
4th pick: #2 (Swag Daddy) (8-1) - Stakes winner hasn't been competitive in a year, but they've all come facing tougher and trainer Rudy Rodriguez will drop him to a new low and has put a pair of solid half-mile drills into him for this attempt.
