2nd pick: #5 (Shadon) (4-1) - Sold privately since he last raced on Jan. 10, owner/trainer Dan Conway Jr. cuts this lightly raced 3-year-old back in distance and removes his blinkers. Whatever talen he has should come out today.
3rd pick: #7 (Fairy Snow) (3-1) - Debuting gelding cost $55K and trainer Linda Rice runs him for a $16K tag first out. Working steadily and her "long time" favorite jockey (Cornelio Velasquez) is aboard.
