Top pick: #5 (LIL ZILLA) (8-5) - Speedy is dropping down in class after setting a pressured pace and tiring late to check in third racing for a $40K tag on Nov. 19. In a solid small barn (Tom Morley) and it looks like she can take this field from gate-to-wire.
2nd pick: #7 (Peach Lake) (2-1) - She's stretching out in distance off a pair of back-to-back second-place finishes going shorter at this level. Filly meets a weak field and is an obvious threat from off the pace.
3rd pick: #4 (Dance For Joe) (6-1) - "Joe" is also stretching out and has finished well back of "Peach Lake" in both of those outings. Lightly raced, she caught sloppy surfaces in both of those and may do much better if the track is fast and/or drying out.
4th pick: #3 (Built in a Day) (4-1) - Daughter of "Roman Ruler" exits the same last pair as both "Peach Lake" and "Dance For Joe." She showed good speed in one and rallied to finish third in the other. Lightly raced and must be left in the mix.
