Top pick: #6 (MAURA'S PASS) (9-2) - Daughter of "War Pass" will be stretching out in distance in her first off a private trainer change to Jason Servis. New barn has freshened her up for six weeks and Servis wins at a 25% rate with new arrivals.
2nd pick: #7 (Senso) (4-1) - Filly comes out of a pace-chasing second-place finish at this level going a "flat" (one turn mile) on the main track here Nov. 19. Nice effort and she has good tactical sped to stay close up early on. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #5 (Dixie Gem) (6-1) - Freshened up since Oct. 12, trainer John Hertler drops in class and switches from grass to dirt. Daughter of "Stonesider" fits well on figures and is a threat if she handles the main track.
4th pick: #1 (Confessa) (2-1) - Her lack of early speed is a concern but she does break from a ground saving post. Three-year-old by "Repent" finished second at this level on the Saratoga dirt July 30th and earned the highest main track figure any of these has reached.
