Top pick: #1 (A.F.HENNESSEY) (2-1) - He was an easy maiden winner here facing a weak field on April 12th in his first race since Sept. 22 and first off a positive trainer change to John Parisella. He's worked fine since, has the rail, and should be even better in his second back from the akmost seven month layoff.
2nd pick: #2 (Luxury Appeal) (7-2) - New York-bred had a bright future late in 2010, but was sent in for 27 month layoff after being severely injured in late Nov. of 2010. This is his third back off the long absence and he showed some life last out. Looks set for a big effort.
3rd pick: #6 (Superiorty) (5-2) - He's one of two entered by trainer Randi Persaud and the pair race uncoupled. In shape gelding was beaten a head here at this level and distance eight days ago, and it marked a career best. Win candidate.
4th pick: #7 (Patriotic Duty) (6-1) - The second of the Persaud pair, he'll be dropping down after two starts facing better in which he raced evenly. He has lost at this tag in the past and a small slice may be his ceiling.
