Trainer Chad Brown drops her into a claimer for the first time (a 31% winning move by the barn) and has her racing third back from a five month layoff. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #2 (Currency Union) (6-1) - Interesting runner began her career in the Chad Brown barn and raced evenly in a pair of starts last fall at Philly Park facing tougher. She has a new trainer today (Jean Antonucci) snd has her working nicely for her first since Nov. 20. Drops, has the rail, and I believe she's the main danger.
3rd pick: #5 (Bargaining Table) (15-1) - Claimed on Feb. 15 by John Toscano, this is yet another who began in the barn of Chad Brown. New trainer drops her under the purchase price and adds blinkers.
4th pick: #6 (Queen Nine) (5-1) - Filly moves up in price after finishing third here on March 17 when racing for a $16K tag in her first start since Oct. 5. That effort was a career best and she could grab a small slice in this spot.
