TO WIN: YASTRZEMSKI In his career debut at Calder this colt ran great, setting the pace and losing by just a neck while finishing 8 lengths clear of a next-out winner in 3rd. He returned August 1 while shipping to New York to face state breds, but he may have been hurt in that 6th place finish, as hes been away for more than 6 months since. Chances are that hes grown and matured quite a bit since his 2yo season and he drops in class to face a weak field. Hes proven to fire fresh and gets in light.
