Youngstown State at Villanova

Youngstown State lost to Villanova in the second round of the 2023 FCS Playoffs and the Penguins return only nine starters from that team. Beau Brungard is the new starting quarterback after backing up Mitch Davidson last year. Brungard didn't play much finishing 14-for-20 for 108 yards and an interception. Villanova went 10-3 and lost 23-12 to South Dakota State in the FCS Playoffs. The Wildcats allowed only 16.7 points per game versus FCS opponents and they return seven starters from a defense that led the conference in total defense in 2023. Villanova also has a strong core at the linebacker positions and in the secondary and it is expected to make another run in the playoffs. Take the UNDER.
