The Cowboys are off to a 4-2 start on the season, although that record is a bit deceptive as they opened the season 2-0 vs. a pair of non Div-1 opponents. San Diego State is also 4-2, but they too have defeated non-D1 opponents. The Aztecs are by far the superior team here, and they have faced a much tougher schedule as their last four games have been vs. Air Force, Michigan, Washington State and TCU. Those aren't just good teams - all four of them are above average-offensive teams and the Aztecs held them all to 28 points or less. Wyoming doesn't present nearly what those teams do on offense, so I see San Diego State holding the Cowboys way down on offense in this one. That would mean that getting to a total of 57 would mostly rest in the hands of the San Diego State offense, which probably isn't the better side of the ball for them. They are 6-0 to the UNDER after scoring 40+ in their previous game, and an amazing 20-3 to the UNDER after a game where they rushed for over 200 yareds, both showing signs of an inconsistent offense. Wyoming is 22-10 to the UNDER following a home win and 10-2 UNDER in their last 12 following a big 21+ point win. Play on the UNDER in this one.
