Wyoming has a ball control offense behind QB Andrew Peasley, a terrific defense, and a strong place-kicker in John Hoyland (20-of-23 field goals). They covered at No. 19 BYU and lost 20-17 to Boise State two games ago as a +14 underdog. Wyoming has come from behind in five games to record wins. The defense was sixth in points allowed in the Mountain West and fifth versus the run while averaging 2.83 sacks per game. Wyoming is 26-16 ATS against teams that have a pass completion percentage of 58% or better and beat a MAC team in last year's bowl, topping Kent State, 52-38. Ohio lives by the pass, but lost star QB Kurtis Rourk (25 TDs, 4 INTs) late in the season. Sophomore QB C.J. Harris (1 TD, 1 INT, 50%) will make his third straight start. They had their hearts set on a larger bowl but lost the MAC Championship Game to Toledo, 17-7. The Bobcats are bad defensively, stuck with the second-worst pass defense in the nation while surrendering 32 points and 424 yards of total offense per contest. And Ohio is 5-15 ATS away from home after a double-digit loss to a conference rival. Play Wyoming.
