Wyoming at Colorado State

Wyoming used the running of Xazavian Valladay to help power its way to a 31-7 victory over Hawaii, evening its record at 1-1 after a tough overtime loss to Nevada. Valladay finished with 163 rushing yards on 5.1 yards per carry with two touchdowns, and Trey Smith added two more scores, gaining 89 yards on the ground for the Cowboys. Quarterback Levi Williams didn't have to do much other than hand off, but he went 9 of 18 for 112 yards with no interceptions. Now in his seventh year, Coach Craig Bohl has done a fine job turning the program around. The Cowboys have won eight games in three of the last four seasons. Colorado State lost its first game of the season 38-17 to Fresno State in a disappointing start to Steve Addazio's first year as coach of the Rams. Colorado State used two quarterbacks without much success, Todd Centeio completing 10 of 23 for 141 yards and Patrick O'Brien finishing 7 of 10 for 82 yards and a touchdown. Centeio actually was the team's leading rusher with 80 yards on 13 carries. Wyoming has covered the spread five of its last six games as road favorites, and the Cowboys are 14-6 ATS their last 20 as a favorite overall. Also, the Cowboys have covered the last four meetings.
