Wisconsin at Penn State

If there was a question concerning Penn State's defense, it was answered last week as Michigan routed the Nittany Lions, 42-7, while racking up 403 total yards, including 259 on the ground on five yards per carry. What's even more troubling is Penn State's offense managed only 186 yards of offense, and Trace McSorley completed just 5-of-13 for 83 yards with no touchdowns and an interception. Penn State has one win against decent competition this season and that was 30-24 over Iowa when the Hawkeyes missed several opportunities down the stretch to take the lead. Wisconsin comes off a 31-17 win over Rutgers while outgaining the Scarlet Knights 473-333 and holding them to 72 rushing yards on 2.8 yards per rush. Wisconsin QB Alex Hornibrook is questionable again with a head injury, so backup Jack Coan could start again. Coan was 20-of-31 for 158 yards and a touchdown against Northwestern two weeks ago, and he completed five of seven passes for 64 yards and a score in relief of Hornibrook last week. The Badgers are 12-3 ATS their last 15 road games and 8-1-1 ATS their last 10 November games. Penn State is 2-13-2 ATS its last 17 games after a loss and 1-4 ATS its last five games in November.
