The Iowa Hawkeyes have not been a very good offensive team the last few years, but this has been a program that thrives on defense. The defense is once again becoming a force this season. This team has steadily improved on that side of the ball, and has now moved up to #12 in yards allowed per game. They are off a game where they held Northwestern to just 10 points, including overtime. But therein likes the problem - the offense is not very efficient. The Badgers have held four teams to 10 points or less. Wisconsin's offense has scored well, but they have simply not been tested by a solid defense yet, aside from Ohio State who held them to their lowest total of the season at 24 points. I expect similar numbers here. The Hawkeyes are 27-11 to the UNDER in their last 48 after allowing less than 170 in the air in their previous game. Since the arrival of Kirk Ferentz, Iowa is 82-66 to the UNDER overall including 54-40 UNDER after a win and 18-8 UNDER as an underdog of 3.5 to 10 points. Play on the UNDER.
