Western Michigan at Akron

Western Michigan is 6-0 but gets a stern test this week at Akron as a double-digit favorite.  The Zips are averaging 414.5 total yards of offense and 37.7 points per game after their 35-13 win over Miami-Ohio.  Junior quarterback Tra'Von Chapman has filled in for injured Thomas Woodson and last week threw for 174 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions. Chapman also rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown.  Jojo Natson caught seven passes for 81 yards.  Akron now has won six conference games in a row dating to last season, including 5-1 ATS.    Broncos QB Zach Terrell has thrown 15 touchdown passes and has a 70.6 completion average.  Akron is 7-3 ATS off a win and playing back-to-back home games while Western Michigan is playing its second road game in three weeks and did not cover the number last week against Northern Illinois.
