Mike Leach has implemented the same strategy he used to make Texas Tech a respectable program, but he is having a more difficult time duplicating it in Washington. Perhaps without the hot-bed of ample talent in the state of Texas to work with has limited his success thus far. He seems to have a strong game at times as he did against Oregon last week, but overall it has not worked well here. Now he must head to the high altitude in Utah after his team played with everything they had at home last week to compete with Oregon. As a result, I think that they are going to lay an egg here against an improved Utes team. Utah is 3-0 and legitimized that start with a big 26-10 win over Michigan last time out in a big confidence builder for this team. Utah is ranked #29 in the country on defense, and is allowing just 210 passing yards per game, despite all three opponents forced to take it to the air in a comeback attempt. The Utes are 13-5 ATS in their last 18 vs. a team with a losing record, and are looking like they will easily go to 4-0 and get the money here. Play on Utah.
