Washington State at Stanford

It wasn't going to be easy for the Stanford Cardinal this season with a new QB under center this season replacing Andrew Luck. Josh Nunes has struggled to find consistency, but the ground game has been coming up big. The Cardinal will likely turn to the ground game against a weak Washington State front seven. The Cardinal’s defense has been superb all season, so those two elements should easily carry them to a huge win here. The Cougars are allowing 175 rushing yards per contest. They are a defensive mess allowing over 30 points per game. They have now gone 18 straight games without finding the win column vs. a top 25 team. Mike Leach has a proven track record but for now he has a lot of kids in the program that are trying to run a system for which they were not recruited. The Cardinal is now 14-3 ATS in their last 17 after allowing less than 275 total yards in their previous game. Longtime struggles for Washington State vs. Stanford continue, as they are 5-12 ATS in their last 17. Take Stanford minus the points.
