Whatever they were at the beginning of the year, you can count on the Beaves being better by the time November rolls around. They are 13-4 ATS in their last 17 from November 1 on - reminding me of an NCAAF version of the San Diego Chargers. The Cougars have gone 31 straight games without winning one in regulation as they have just two OT wins to show for their efforts down the stretch. It has been so bad that they would be 7-18 ATS in their last 25 Pac-10 games when getting 24 points, regardless of the opponent. The Beavers smell blood vs. losing teams and have cashed-in to a 21-7-1 ATS mark in their last 29 vs. such teams. They are now 36-17-1 ATS in their last 54 vs. the Pac-10. When playing bad teams (those getting outscored by 10+ ppg), the Beavers have covered 13 of their last 16. Under Mike Riley, this team is 33-22 ATS as a favorite and 9-2 ATS vs. teams at .250 or less. I like Oregon State big here.
