Paul Wolf inherited a bad team at Washington State three years ago. What has he done since then? He's produced a 3-22 record. Things don't look to get much better here as the Cougars have a wide gap to close. They allowed over 41 points per game a year ago, while scoring just 12. On the road they scored just 70 total points in seven games. Oklahoma State will have a new QB, but they also have a new offensive coordinator in Dana Holgerson. Holgerson was the architect of the high-octane offenses we have seen from Houston over the last few years, so I would expect to see the Cowboys opening things up, even in game one. That spells trouble for the DBs at Washington State who were torched a year ago. This one could get ugly. Mike Gundy is now 19-9 ATS in the role as a favorite and I like the Cowboys to get it done here.
