Two years ago Andrew Luck graduated from Stanford, and some thought that this Cardinal team would disappear slowly from amongst the top teams in the country. All they have done since is go 16-2, including a Bowl win vs. Wisconsin last season. They have opened this season at 4-0, and are ranked No. 5 in the country. I guess they haven't disappeared after all. Washington has one of their best teams in several years with an experienced QB in Price, and a pretty good defense as well. Kevin Hogan is coming of age for Stanford and has already tossed 10 TD passes, while the ground attack is equally strong. The Cardinal will be bringing a little extra for this one as they lost a 4-point decision at Washington last year. The Huskies have certainly had their issues when playing on the road vs. a team with a winning home record, as they are a woeful 1-7 ATS in their last eight. The Cardinal offense has been on a roll, and when they have it going they are hard to stop, as they enter at 25-3-1 ATS when following a game where they went for 40+ points. It's clear that David Shaw has something lasting going here as Stanford is 21-9 ATS since his arrival including a perfect 10-0 following a game in which they scored 42+ points and 14-4 ATS following an ATS win. Play Stanford.
