Washington at Boise State

Former Boise State coach Chris Peterson returns to Boise State for the first time with his Washington Huskies. Peterson was 92-12 as coach at Boise State, so this should be an intense battle. Washington starts the 2015 season with a lot of uncertainty at QB, as Peterson has yet to announce the starter. Boise State has usually had a known quantity at QB, but sophomore quarterback Ryan Finley makes his first career start after throwing a grand total of 27 passes last season. That puts both offenses at a disadvantage in the opener, as they both may need some time to click, and the intensity of the defenses should be high with both squads battling the Peterson situation.
