Wake Forest was embarrassed by Clemson 56-7 back at the end of September. This team really could have taken a bad turn after that, but to their credit the loss galvanized this team, and they have played at a much higher level since. Wake has won two-of-three since that game and the only loss was a 3-point decision on the road last time out vs. unbeaten Miami as a 26-point underdog. The Deacons have certainly played way over the line, as they are 3-0 ATS in their last three, winning two games outright as an underdog and covering the three games by 74 total points! Syracuse has lost three games by 21 points or more, and their last effort vs. Georgia Tech simply wasn't an effort at all as they were beaten 56-0. The Deacons have bounced back from a loss to go 10-3 ATS in their last 13, while the Orange are 6-15-1 ATS in their last 22 after allowing more than 450 yards in their previous game.
