Wake Forest at NC State

It has been a long year for Wake Forest as they have a lot of work to do on offense, and have been able to generate little on that side of the ball for much of the season. The offense is certainly bad, but their last five games have been against defenses that rank #2, #6, #16, #29, and #50 in terms of yards allowed per game. They will go up against an NC State team that ranks #75. Wake has been pretty good on the defensive side of the ball, in particular when you realize how much they are on the field because of the offense, as they allow the 44th fewest yards of any team in CFB. The Wake offense has shown some improvement in scoring 17, and 20 points in their last two games vs the #2 and #16 defenses in the country. Let's not forget they are 4-0 ATS as a dog from +13.5 to +21 on the season, and in those four games they allowed a total of 71 points, or fewer than 18 per contest. This line is way overdone, so play on Wake Forest.
