In the wake of the departure of Teddy Bridgewater, the Louisville offense has not been as bad as most thought, in fact it has been pretty good. The Cardinals are averaging 38 points per game and have already faced Miami and Virginia, scoring well in both games. Louisville has 9 TD passes on the season to just a pair of INTs. Wake Forest is going to struggle in conference play. They have already lost to UL Monroe, scoring just 10 points, barely squeaked past Army at home by 3, then lost to Utah Sate. and had trouble with Gardner Webb. QB John Wolford has already been picked 7 times, and the competition here is stepping up in a big way. I just don't see anything on either side of the ball for Wake that keeps them in contact here. Couple that with their road resume that is nothing to be proud of as they are 5-14 ATS in their last 19 on the road vs. a team with a winning home record. The Cardinals are always at the top level for conference play, now at 14-3 ATS in their last 17. This will be a harsh welcome for Wake Forest. Play on Louisville.
