Western Kentucky at Marshall

Marshall continues their unbeaten season as they head into this game at 11-0. They are in line for a major Bowl game, and right now it appears that either Colorado State or themselves will get the nod. Marshall will not lose focus because of what is at stake, and will be going all out to impress, so the back door will not be open in this one. Western Kentucky has won three in a row, but the defense is lacking in a big way, and they like to play fast, except for one problem. In this game, they will be facing a team that does it better than them with better athletes. The Hilltoppers have allowed 41 points or more in six games this season, and while I think they will get their share here, Marshall has the most potent offense they will see this season and averages 45 points per game against all defenses, let alone the poor one they will see here. I would not be surprised to see the Herd go for 60+ in this one, and a strong cover is likely. Marshall owns a stellar 14-1-1 ATS mark at home vs. a team with a winning road record in their last 16, and will add to that in this one. Make the play on Marshall.
