Virginia Tech at Maryland

Something smells fishy here. Quite fishy indeed. The South is not a fun place to play at night on the road, and that is what VT is facing. And, two huge games on the horizon in Boston College and Miami that will determine their fate in the ACC and BCS this season. Looks like a possible let down and, honestly, how could they not? Road favorites at 80%+ straight-up on the season after 5 or more consecutive SU wins, when playing a good team (60% to 80%) are just 18-49 over the last 10 seasons. Maryland is racking up nearly as many rushing yards and who lot more passing yards per game than Tech. Va Tech lost their starting TB in Cedric Hunes against Marshall and that will hurt a bit here. They are 6-0 but their second half schedule gets much tougher, starting tonight. Maryland's crowd will be amped and this is a lot of points for a night game in the South. Two stars on the fired-up home Terps and the generous points.
