Virginia Tech at Georgia Tech

Georgia Tech has lost three of its last four following a 3-1 start and all the losses have been excruciating, including last week's 40-36 defeat to Virginia, which scored on a 27-yard touchdown pass with 1:22 remaining. As usual, the Yellow Jackets did most of their damage on the ground with 220 rushing yards led by quarterback TaQuon Marshall, who rushed for 143 yards. Unfortunately, he wasn't much help in the passing game as he completed only 6-of-22 for 179 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions. Virginia Tech's only two losses have been to Clemson and at Miami-Florida. The Hokies offense never got going against the Hurricanes last week although quarterback Josh Jackson had a decent day finishing 20-of-32 for 197 yards but with two picks. Jackson has completed 62.4 percent of his passes with 17 touchdowns and six interceptions this season. The road team has covered 10 of the last 11 meetings and the Hokies are 4-1 ATS their last five after a loss. Also, the Hokies have gone UNDER five of their last six games and nine of their last 12 road contests. Georgia Tech has stayed UNDER in five of its last seven games.
