When you look at the two schools in this game and see the line it, almost causes a knee jerk reaction to pull the trigger on Missouri before the books realize they made a mistake. Not this year! Missouri has had some potent offensive teams of late, but this season they haven't yet proven that. Last week they went to Central Florida and were outgained, lucky to come away with a win where they were held to just 21 points. Their output vs. four FBS teams this year is a grand total of 75 points in four games. Last year there was not any three-game stretch where they scored as little as 75 points, let alone four games. So, this is clearly not the same team. Vanderbilt may be 1-3, but they have lost their three games vs. FBS teams that are a combined 15-0. While Georgia beat them up pretty bad, they limited a high-scoring Northwestern team to 23 points, and kept South Carolina to just 17. The Commodores out-gained South Carolina and were out-gained by Northwestern by just 6 yards. While the logos on the helmets may make you want to go with Mizzou, Vanderbilt is every bit their equal here. Take the points.
