Vanderbilt at Florida

The Vanderbilt Commodores have occasionally risen up in the SEC, but most years this program lags behind the better or even average teams in the conference. This year is a case in point of them lagging behind. That being said, Vanderbilt certainly has some liabilities on offense, but the defense is certainly on a par with some of the better teams in the conference. That has helped them stay in just about every game, as they have gone 3-1 ATS in conference play and have averaged allowing just 20 points per game in their four games in conference play, larger than the posted line in this game by itself. I definitely see some value on Vanderbilt in this game, as the Gators offense has been in the 20s in each of the last three weeks, and that isn't going to get it done vs. a strong defense, as a better than three TD favorite. Vandy is now 11-3 ATS in their last 14 vs. a team with a winning home record, and the Gators have not shown up at home when taking on a team with a losing road record, at 0-4 ATS in their last four.
