Texas A&M unfortunately finds themselves on the side of the SEC that houses the conference's strongest teams. They won't be playing for a national championship this season thanks to two losses. But, they can still find themselves in a big Bowl game and they still have a quarterback trying for a second Heisman Trophy. This is an offense that scored 42 points on Alabama, 52 on Rice, and 65 on Alcorn State. The number is big here, but not big enough against UTEP. The Miners have played a very weak schedule, but in spite of that are a woeful 1-6. The problem is six of those average-to-below-average teams have scored 32 points or more against UTEP. The Miners don't bounce back well either, as they are 5-18 ATS following a loss of 20 points or more, and are just 3-24 ATS following an ATS loss. The Aggies enter at 7-1 ATS in their last eight vs. C-USA. Kevin Sumlin is 19-7 ATS in his coaching career as a home favorite and 15-4 ATS when facing a losing team. Lay the number here and play on Texas A&M.
