UTEP at Middle Tennessee State

Not a whole lot has gone right for the UTEP Miners this season. They enter this game at 2-9, but the two wins have come against teams that have combined to go 2-20 on the season. The Miners have allowed 40+ points six times this season. And, most of those have come recently, as four of their last five opponents have topped the 40 mark. Their last four losses have come by 34 points or more. Middle Tennessee turned a mediocre 3-4 record into 7-4 as they have played their best football of the season down the stretch. The offense has caught fire from a team that scored 20 or less in five games, to a team that has averaged 40 points per game in their last four. These teams are heading in opposite directions so lay the wood and play on Middle Tennessee.
