UTEP at Charlotte

UTEP comes off a major upset of Boise State winning 27-10 as a 16.5-point underdog. The Miners racked up 199 yards rushing while holding the Broncos to 84 yards on the ground and just 93 through the air. UTEP QB Gavin Hardison didn't throw much but when he did he was accurate completing 10 of 11 for 123 yards and a touchdown with no interceptions for a 149.1 QB rating and Deion Hankins ran for 86 yards on 21 carries. Dana Dimel's squad had its first winning season since 2014 last year and he brought back 15 starters. Charlotte has lost seven of its last eight games, including a 56-20 blowout loss at South Carolina on Saturday as the Gamecocks totaled 545 yards of offense compared to 292 for the 49ers. Charlotte QB Chris Reynolds was 16 of 28 for 143 yards with two TDs and two picks for a 68.5 QB rating. The 49ers are just 1-7 ATS dating to last season, including 1-4 ATS at home.
