Utah vs. Penn State

Penn State finished the regular season with a flourish winning its last four games and covering the last six, including 35-16 over Michigan State as Sean Clifford threw for 202 yards on 19 of 24 and four touchdowns with no picks. The Nittany Lions haven't reported many opt-outs although one of them is wide receiver Parker Washington, who missed the last two games anyway. Penn State allowed an average of just 10 points its last four games and 18.0 on the season. Utah allowed 20.4 points per game and it has gone UNDER four of five following a win. Utah won the Pac-12 title by beating USC 47-24, but running back Tavion Thomas and tight end Dalton Kincaid have opted out for this game and star cornerback Clark Phillips III also decided not to play. Cameron Rising will play and he has thrown for 2,939 yards and 25 TDs with seven interceptions this season. The Nittany Lions are #16 in the country in total yards allowed and #47 in pass defense while Utah is #58 in total yards allowed. Penn State is 40-16-1 ATS following a win and the Utes are 4-10 ATS their past 14 non-conference games and they have gone UNDER four of their past six overall.
