Utah State QB Chuckie Keaton has been at it again early as he has thrown the ball for 1102 yards and 14 TDs already this season. Those are impressive numbers, but at 7.7 yards per attempt, this passing attack is not quite as potent as the one that generated 8.3 yards per attempt a year ago. San Jose State has a QB that can deliver as well in David Fales. The Spartans have played a pair of BCS Conference teams and are a deceiving 1-2 on the season. Despite stepping up in competition, Fales has thrown for 880 yards at 8 yards per attempt - better than Keaton. These teams are very familiar with each other, and I think that getting anything over a TD at home here is a bargain. The Spartans have delivered a 7-1 ATS record in their last eight conference games, and have been cover machines at 21-6 ATS in their last 27 overall. They are also 12-3 ATS the past three seasons as a dog. Take San Jose State in this one.
