Utah State at Idaho

Love this game! These two teams made the jump to the WAC and will pay for it until recruiting cycles can upgrade their talent levels. Both of these teams have played UNLV with Utah State winning at home and Idaho losing on the road. Idaho ranks as one of the worst teams in the country and they are coming off a 24-0 loss to Hawaii. Everything points to the road favorite taking this one down but it's a great contrarian play. Home underdogs with 8+ offensive starters (including QB) back, after being outgained by 225 or more total yds in their previous game are 57-24 (70%) since 1992. You see, they couldn't be worse in the public's eye right now but with a core of experienced players, they will regroup and bounce back. As bad as Idaho has been, Utah State does not have much to write home about either. They are 1-8 ATS in road games after the first month of the season over the last 3 seasons and 4-14 ATS when going on the road after a win. Idaho is 4-1 ATS vs. Utah State in the last five and will pull off the home win (or at least cover) here. Three stars on Idaho.
