USC at Washington State

Washington State might be the most feared 2-6 team in the country. Mike Leach's troops are #1 in the nation in passing with 490 yards per game along with 35.5 points per contest. They come off losses to #25 Stanford and #15 Arizona, and even gave #2 Oregon a run before losing 38-31. The Cougars are 14-5-1 ATS after a spread loss and 6-0 ATS following a double-digit loss at home. They are home here and face an overrated USC team that already has three losses and plays its third road game in four weeks. They've been favored in all their losses by 1, 13 and 17 points. The offense turned it over twice last week at Utah in a 24-21 defeat, losing on a TD pass with eight seconds left. They also escaped with a victory over Arizona when the Wildcats missed a last-second 36-yard field goal. Last week USC gained only 44 yards of total offense in the second and third quarters and the Trojans are 4-13 ATS in their last 17 road games. Take the points on Washington State.
