USC at UCLA

This has always been a huge rivalry game, but UCLA has not been good for a while until this season, entering this contest at 8-2. This game has even more drama as the winner will likely lay claim to the Pac-12 South, and get to take on Oregon in the Pac-12 Championship game -  and you know USC wants another crack at them. USC was considered the best team in the country at the beginning of the season, but have yet to play consistently to earn that position at 7-3. They will likely have rivalry motivation here, but a stronger desire to win here and get another crack at Oregon - a team they think they can beat. The Trojans have 38 sacks and have forced 28 turnovers. At times, the defense looks like the one that everyone had expected, but the lack of consistency has caused them to lose a few shootouts. The Bruins have struggled defensively as well, allowing over 400 yards per game, and their pass defense has been less than pedestrian, and facing a pro-like QB won't be easy. USC has one more chance to shine to earn a chance to shine again, and will take advantage here. Lay the points with USC in this one.
