We are just three weeks into the season and already the Pac-12 is delivering a high-impact contest with the USC Trojans taking on the Stanford Cardinal. There is a lot of hype surrounding this USC team. It all starts with Heisman hopeful Matt Barkley, who has started by throwing 10 TD passes in his first two games to just one interception. There is no question that the Trojans can light-up the scoreboard, but the 29 points allowed to a relatively weak Syracuse team shows that there are chinks in the armor of this National Championship caliber team. Josh Nunes takes over for the departed Andrew Luck at Stanford. He had three years watching one of the best and has had success moving the chains so far for the Stanford offense. This game should be an intense battle. USC has had to crisscross the country, now heading to Stanford who is a tough out at home. The Cardinal have taken four of the last five meetings, and are now 25-5-1 ATS after scoring 40+ in their previous game. After scoring 40+, the Trojans are now 4-10 ATS in their last 14. Take the points and play on Stanford.
