USC at Oregon State

Over the past few years, the Oregon State Beavers have been a team that has dominated the spread in the second half of their season. Such has not been the case this season as they have dropped their last two down the stretch. THeir last loss was a real confidence killer as they lost by 17 points as a 23 point favorite! They have lost their last two to teams that had a combined one win in conference play. USC may not be as potent as they were in the past several years, but they are still a tough team especially with the emergence of Matt Barkley. The Trojans QB has thrown for over 2,500 yards and has 25 TD passes. On the season, USC is 4-1 SU and 3-1 ATS on the road. They are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 as a road chalk from 3-10 points. The Beavers aren’t faring well off a loss as they are now 1-4-1 ATS in their last six in that situation. I like USC to win and cover on the road here.
