It has been awhile since UNLV has assembled a competitive football team and looking at a 41-16 home loss to Southern Utah, it's obvious that they aren't doing it this year. Last week the Rebels lost to what was considered the worst team in the FBS in New Mexico. While they lost to the worst team on the road by just 7 points, how ugly has this team been on the road? Their previous 13 road losses were by 462 total points, an average of 35.6 points per game! This may not be a vintage Air Force team, but a lot of those Rebel 13 road losses weren't against teams any better than what they will see here. The Falcons need a win to become Bowl eligible, so they are sure to play hard here and not snooze. The Rebels’ road disaster is now 12-37-3 ATS in their last 52 games including 1-11 ATS the past two seasons under Bobby Hauck. This team has just about become an automatic fade on the road. Air Force is scoring 32 points per game while UNLV allows 39 per game. And, over the last two seasons UNLV is just 1-10 ATS when they allow 28+ points (as seems virtually guaranteed here). Air Force gets the call.
