UL Monroe at Appalachian State

Appalachian State put together a lot of strong seasons in their days in the FCS. They have now entered play in the FBS, and suffered some serious growing pains early on. They have begun to come together as they have played their best two games of the season in back-to-back wins by an eye-opening 83 combined points. They will be at home vs. Louisiana Monroe who has had all sorts of trouble playing on the road this season where they have yet to post a win at 0-4. The Warhawks have been very poor on offense as they have dropped four straight games, and in the process have managed a total of 62 points or 15.5 points per game. They played a disinterested Texas A&M team last week and almost came away with a win, but they also spent a lot of energy in that game, and having to head out back on the road is no easy task vs. a team that is starting to come around.
