UL Lafayette at Mississippi

Ole Miss has lived in the shadows of the SEC. So many SEC teams find themselves in the spotlight, but the Rebels just always seem to be a second-tier SEC team. Things could change this season, as some of the top teams look as vulnerable as ever, and the conference seems to have a lot of very good teams that could beat each other on any given day. Ole Miss is in that group now, and come in ranked 15th in the country. Big things were expected from UL Lafayette this season but they were humbled in a hurry last week at home vs a poor LA Tech team. It wasn't just a loss, it was a loss by 28 points at home as a 16 point favorite. That means they played under the line by 44 points - ouch! Lafayette lost to a lower tier SEC team a year ago in Arkansas by 20, and two years ago they lost to Oklahoma State by 41.
