UL Lafayette at Florida Atlantic

It has been a tough go for the Florida Atlantic Owls, winning just three games this season and four of their last 26 games. For the most part they have been starved for offense, and at the same time have not found many answers on the defensive side of the ball. They have managed to score more than 20 points in just seven of their last 27 games, while at the same time allowing 20 or more in 27 of their last 28! Just from those raw numbers alone it says that they are in trouble here vs. a 7-4 Louisiana Lafayette team. That is because the Cajuns have scored 20 or more points in 27 straight games, and this year they are averaging 34.8 points per game. The numbers just don't work here. I expect the Cajuns to get into the 30s at least here, which is more than enough to get the cover vs. a struggling Owls team. The Cajuns have had their way on the road going 13-4 ATS the past three seasons. In their last eleven road games vs. a team with a losing home record, the Cajuns are are 10-1 ATS.
