The USC Trojans have a lot of talent. They clearly opened the season unmotivated, or undisciplined, or both. For that they have paid the price. An early season loss to Washington State where they scored just seven points was downright ugly. Exit Lane Kiffin and enter Ed Orgeron, and the Trojans find themselves back in the national rankings. This team is now 6-1 over their last seven games. UCLA has left a marker behind of late. When they allow 20 points or less, they have won 20 straight games. But they get in trouble when allowing more. They wished they caught USC early in the season when the offense was dead, but the Trojans have produced an average of 40 points per game in their last four, and that is not a good sign for UCLA. Take the surging Trojans.
