Texas-San Antonio at Southern Miss

The Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles were once a fixture in Bowl games as they went through a period about a decade and a half of making it to a Bowl game. They had 18 winning seasons in a row until an ugly 2012 that saw them finish 0-12. They enter this game at just 2-3 so there is some doubt if this team will be Bowl eligible. Since opening the season with losses at Arizona State, Baylor, and Kansas State, UTSA has been 3-1. The offense is really below average but the defense has held them in games as they have forced 11 turnovers on their last four games. Southern Miss has just one win over an FBS team and it was not pretty vs. a poor Rice team. I think the line here is overdone and will back UT-San Antonio in this one.
