An impossible scheduling spot for a bad Texas-San Antonio squad, opening at a Pac 12 power. Texas-San Antonio was 4-8 SU/ATS last season, losing 43-13 at Oklahoma State. They actually played this Arizona team to a 26-23 game at home in Week 2, but it was a bit misleading. Arizona had 223 yards rushing, 5.1 yards per carry, its first road game of the season with a pair of key conference games on the horizon, including a showdown with Oregon. The Roadrunners are on a 2-8 ATS run, plus 1-4 ATS in their last five road games. Arizona is home this time for fourth-year Coach Rich Rodriguez and his zone-read spread option attack that struck for 34.5 points, 281 yards passing, and 182 rushing per contest. He found a gem in Sophomore QB Anu Solomon, (28 TDs, 9 INTs). Teamed with Junior RB Nick Wilson (1,375 yards, 5.8 yards per carry, 16 TDs), and senior WR Cayleb Jones (1,018 yards), this offense will be a force. The defense also has an immense talent in LB Scooby Wright, and this is not a look-ahead spot with a game at Nevada on deck. Play Arizona.
